Board Member Position Descriptions
Open positions listed below (Board is voted in at the October meeting)
Equipment Manager: Bags all equipment for AYSA teams prior to the season, orders soccer balls, takes equipment inventory, refills 1st aid kits, etc… as season goes on.
Coach Coordinator: Helps recruit coaches from parents who have registered their children. Helps assign teams to coaches. Assists coaches with questions they may have throughout the season. The busy time for this
position is March/April….then it slows down. Sounds involved…but really….it’s just talking to parents and seeing if they would like to help coach!
AYSA Vice President: Assists the AYSA President with routine operations of the club. Works with AYSA board members in any problem solving, or brainstorming to better the operation of AYSA.
Member at Large: Board member that helps out other coordinators where he or she can with registration, picnic, skills clinic & etc. Also, will add ideas and help to make decisions at meetings.
